We maintain excellent relationships with our families and the wider community. All parents are automatically members of FOSS (our Friends of Saxton School) who put on wonderful events for families. We also have collaborative events with other organisations, including the church, such as the Christmas Fair.
Parents are valued partners in their child’s education. We try to maintain regular communication about everything we do in school, and invite parents into school regularly. Every term we have Learning Reviews where children’s learning is discussed, and we hold Open Classroom events where parents are welcomed into classes to see the work that children have done throughout the term. We hold regular productions and events in the church, to which parents are invited.
