Mrs Heneachon joined the team at Saxton Primary in September 2023. Her teaching experience has been in both primary and secondary settings over the past 17 years. Most recently, Mrs Heneachon worked at a local secondary school supporting the teaching and learning opportunities for children with additional needs. She successfully planned and delivered a bespoke learning curriculum which focussed on developing life skills through practical learning.During her time teaching, Mrs Heneachon has led subjects including Design Technology and Science. She believes in the active participation of all children, developing the whole child. Her ethos is driven by building independence and an enjoyment of learning in an inclusive, stimulating environment.In her spare time, Mrs Heneachon is a keen baker and enjoys crafting – especially recycling and upcycling old items. Being a mother to two active children and a dog, most of her weekends are spent cheering her son on from the sidelines at his football matches; practising gymnastics routines with her daughter and taking in the outdoors whilst walking her Cockapoo called Bremner.
